We had a ball at our 2016 Gala Ball!

Thanks to all those who came and celebrated our wonderful L4Life community at our High Society Ball on Friday, 25 November 2016. It was a very special night and many noted a lot of love in the room. The stage was set for our Ball theme with an exquisite floral display and nostalgic scene in the foyer reminiscent of the 1950’s silver screen with the movie icons themselves, Grace Kelly, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and Celeste Holm there to greet the guests!

There were drinks and canapes and soothing jazz sounds to open the evening from the band, The Club. After browsing the auction items and activities for the night, guests were ushered down into the Ballroom.

A big thank you to Panache flowers in Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn for providing our floral table centrepieces. They looked amazing, the gorgeous garden roses matching the old fashioned theme.

Tom Gleisner MC (Patron) welcomed the guests who were then treated to a showcase of Ballroom dancing by Holly Moreton and Daniel Guthrie, a talented couple about to compete at the Australian Dancesport Championships. Leonda by the Yarra supported our Ball and were the perfect venue, serving a sumptuous three-course meal. The service was great and every detail attended to. After the main course the band, The Club, moved from jazz to more upbeat dance numbers. Everyone loved them. They were great musicians: vibrant, energetic, classy and chic.
